Having held senior operational, leadership, and board level roles across multiple disciplines Andy’s extensive experience covers Business & Sustainability Leadership, Growth and Investment Strategy, Shareholder Divestment & Acquisition Strategy and M&A Stakeholder Project Management. As a Chartered Engineer, Technical Leadership includes Building Services, Design Management, Product Design, Modular and Off-site Engineering.  Working across the UK, Europe and UAE in the contracting, consultancy and manufacturing sectors, Andy is renowned for his open, pragmatic and customer focused approach.  

Over the past decade, Andy has held numerous Board level executive appointments.  As Managing Director at Exyte Hargreaves and the Portakabin Group, Andy is recognised for his leadership skills, passion and commitment within the sector.  He is the past President of the Building & Engineering Services Association, a fellow of CIBSE, and a Chartered Engineer.

A passionate advocate for sustainability, Andy is dedicated to continually improving his expertise and understanding within Sustainability Leadership. Having already gained multiple accreditations from the University of Cambridge in sustainable leadership, Andy is currently undertaking a Master of Studies in Interdisciplinary Design for the Built Environment (IDBE) at the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL) as a member of Wolfson College Cambridge.  

A passionate advocate of inclusivity and diversity, Andy has been team building, mentoring and recruiting for decades.  As a recognised leader, Andy’s passion for team building started over 30 years ago as the Captain and Coach of various football teams.  His passion quickly developed into a proven skill for business team building and colleague development, with the career highlight of the design, development and launch of the Crown House Professional Development Programme, the UK’s 1st Building Services employer delivered NVQ technical CPD programme.
