Project Director – Hinkley Point C – Outside IR35 Contract – £600-£750 per day
This client currently has a requirement for a Project Director, working on one of the UK’s largest Live projects, Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater.
They are a key delivery partner on the HPC project, and are looking for a high quality Project Director to oversee the successful delivery.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the delivery of major projects, ideally within the regulated sector space, Nuclear experience would be advantageous but not a pre requisite.
They are ideally looking for someone from a Steel/Fabrication background, this could be Construction or Oil and Gas, the most important thing is you have strong client facing skills, experience delivering projects and also building relationships/identifying potential new work streams on site.
This position offers long term work, a competitive day rate and outside IR35 contract. Please note they are happy to consider people UK wide but you will need to be on site at HPC so if you are not South West based you will need to be able to live/work away.
Role Requirements:
- Currently working as a Project Director or similar level leadership position, with a proven track record of large scale project delivery.
- Experience within the installation of Fabricated Structural steel within regulated environments, ie: Nuclear, Oil and Gas, Construction.
- Capable of working in a client facing capacity, acting as the interface between head office ad site. This role requires strong client facing skills.
- As Project Director, oversee the overall delivery programme, ensuring milestones are achieved.
- You will need to be site based a large majority of the week, so if you are not South West based you will need to be able to live/work away.
