Quantity Surveyor – £65-£75k plus generous package – Hinkley Point C
LDNY People are currently working closely with a market leading Construction/Engineering Business, established over 50 years with an enviable reputation for high integrity project delivery.
They work in highly regulated sectors such as Nuclear, Marine, Pharmaceutical, Bridges, Oil and Gas and Piling.
As a key delivery partner on Hinkley Point C they are currently overseeing a large package on site, as a result they are looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor with a strong understanding of NEC form of contract.
They have exciting growth plans across the UK on some very high profile projects, so this position would suit someone motivated to progress to Commercial Manager and beyond in the future.
Role requirements:
- Currently working as a Quantity Surveyor within the engineering/construction sector, experience within the regulated sectors would be extremely advantageous.
- Capable of working on your own initiative and overseeing your own projects, reporting into a Commercial Director.
- You must have a good understanding of working under NEC form of contract.
- Strong financial acumen, client facing skills and confidence in representing your company at site meetings.
- This position will require regular site attendance at HPC, so you will ideally be South West based or happy to travel/stay overnight.
- Motivated, well presented and keen to progress your career.
- Capable user of Word/Excel.
