Technical Support Engineer – Remote with in country travel.

LDNY are currently working in partnership with a leading engineering business, they currently operate worldwide and considered a market leader within Precision Agriculture, Geospatial, Machine Control, Surveying and Construction.
They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Support Engineer to join their expanding UK operations, this role is working within their fast growing agricultural arm, they are at the forefront of new technologies within precision agriculture.
In this technical-hands on role, you will ensure this companies precision farming partners and resellers are successfully trained and supported using the latest innovative technologies within Autosteer systems.
They currently have opportunities within the UK, Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, Germany and Austria.
Role Responsibilities:
- Ensure the successful onboarding of Precision Agriculture partners from both a hardware and software perspective.
- Develop and manage the relationship with resellers and partners, being responsible for their product updates and technical requests.
- Provide timely technical support and training on products via email, calls, in person and web conference.
- Perform problem Analysis to resolve product related issues, offering ongoing and follow up Technical Support.
- Support the sales functions as the technical expert within Agriculture.
- Develop, maintain and provide ongoing into training material and user guides.
Role Requirements:
- A Bachelors Degree in engineering, ideally within Agricultural engineering or GNSS.
- At least one years experience in customer service support or technical training.
- Possess strong communication skills and a can do, positive attitude.
- Experience within Agricultural environments would be a real bonus.
- As a Technical Support Engineer, you will possess strong problem solving skills.
- Strong presentation and public speaking skills, capable of performing technical demonstrations.
- Experience using Microsoft applications and a keen interest in learning new technologies.
- You must be based in the UK, Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Austria and be a native speaker of your base country to be considered for this position.
